Q. What should I look for in a custom closet designer?
A. Examine the designer’s credentials. Is your designer someone with a custom cabinet background or a sales person with a sales background? After your consultation, you will receive drawings created expressly for your needs. They will be professional, easy to read, and explain in detail exactly what you are buying.

Q. What do I need to know about the person who installs my custom cabinetry?
A. You should first make sure that the person installing your custom cabinet is an experienced cabinet maker. You will also want to ensure that they have all the tools necessary for the installation. Make sure to discuss your installation with your install expert to make sure that he is knowledgeable about his craft and your needs. We are always very careful to be neat and considerate with your home when we install.

Q. What sort of hardware do you use when you install my custom cabinets?
A. We are conscientious about the quality of our installations. We provide steel core hardware to ensure that your fixtures are durable. We sell only full extension drawers with ball bearing smooth glide steel slides and steel core oval rods for clothes hanging sections. We never use inexpensive aluminum fixtures, and our materials are ¾” thick instead of 5/8” thick materials of some of our competitors.

Q. How can I be sure that you can accommodate my request?
A. Our team of experts is prepared to accommodate a range of requests from closet systems to enclosed cabinets. We offer 15 stock colors, where many companies only offer 8. Since we customize our shelves, drawers, and depths to fit your particular situation, you never have to worry about being limited to stock sizes.
Our designs can be economical, functional & practical, but we also have the ability to design & build high-end closet systems and cabinetry that incorporate crown molding, fluted columns, applied base moldings, solid or framed glass doors, lighting, islands, etc. Your options are limitless at Closets & Beyond, LLC.

Q. How Long Does it Take Before a Basic Closet Design can be Installed?
A. Basic installations take 1-2 weeks. Appointments are generally available for your consultation within a week. Even a high-end closet design done in melamine with raised paneling & crown molding would only take 2 - 3 ½ weeks.
